Swapping supercharged engine into 2009 Mini Cooper s

Hey guys I’m new to the Mini Cooper scene, and i am thinking about purchasing a 2009 Mini Cooper s that has a blown engine. I wanted to swap in the supercharged engine from the earlier Mini Cooper models because people have told me that they are more reliable and cheaper to get. So anyways, is it possible to fit the supercharged engine into a turbo model car? And is there anything else I should know about if you can. Thank you

i highly doubt you''re going to get a straight answer for this. just go get another turbo motor and stuff it in there. chances are it'll get expensive real fast.

Yeah, i';ve the heard of supercharged Minis going turbo but not the other way around. But hey, that would be cool if you are the first to go that route. Good luck!
