Hi, recently bought an '06 S convertible, fixing the small items that were brought to my attention before i bought, one of them is a rattle in the engine compartment at low idle, said to be the tensioner for the serpentine belt, and i was given a tiny shock absorber as the supposed fix for that situation, can anybody verify the problem/fix for me? Is this a common problem, and how mechanically inclined does a body need to be to change-out this little shock absorber?
