Default Tire Size

I have a 2006 Mini Cooper with 15 inch wheels, Parelli P3000 tires 175-65-R15. Dealer says I can't put any other tires on this car. Has anybody put different sized tires on these wheels? Or are there any recommendations for tire replacements?

you can find other sizes , that are close , are you talking going to 16's 17's or 18's
or just going to a different size of 15's

Generally, the tires that came on the car are the correct size for the width of the wheels you have. I'm pretty sure 185-60-R15 would work, as would other sizes close to the original, but 175-65-R15 as came on the car would be best for normal driving on the original wheels.
