Upgrading standard lights to xenon

I have a 2004 Mini cooper base. I recently swapped my head lights to xenon lights. Ever since i did that, once i turn on my lights they flicker for about 5 minutes before they turn on completely. Suggestions??

The MINI was not coded for Xenons. If they are OEM you can try to code them for Xenon which some MINI dealerships can do and some have done it with aftermarket coding software. NCS Expert and such.

Did you install the factory MINI retrofit kit?
