The standard rear view mirror in my 2009 R56 got too loose for my driving. Replaced it with the "homelink" 3 button garage door mirror that is nice and tight.
I can not get the garage door buttons to work but the remote entry works so I know there is power to the unit. I followed the steps in the owners manual but no lights. Any ideas? BCM flashing? Some other hardware missing? Work work unless it was built with the option?

If you have rolling code garage door its a different step on setting it up.
