Default Muffler Removal on S

I have 3 turbo diesels.. i removed the muffler (added K&N air filter) and turbo
spools up much faster.. all run better.. and no louder from muffler removal because the turbo cuts the sound up..
Has anyone removed their muffler?

Default Muffler for MCS 2002

Hey Lasttoy,

Need your help. I'm looking at replacing both mufflers but when searching for magnaflow, they all suggest to buy the whole exhaust system. Magnaflow mufflers are all universal but don't know which one specifically fits my car. Any suggestions, other than magnaflow?

Thanks.

I do not see why you want 2 mufflers? other than to have the original number? I removed the rear muffler, installed straight pipe. A bit louder but still within limits. I saw several good systems that had one muffler. I will look them up later. But in all you will spend a lot of money to get nothing unless you get rid of those mufflers. and get a low restriction air filter. one must do both to allow the turbo to free spool up and down which will give you a lot more power and much quicker response to pedal.
