Lost radiator water
 

New to me a 2022 2 dr S with 32 k on the odometer. I have driven it less than 500 miles in temperature exceeding 100 degrees ambient without any problems. Yesterday driving home from work with temperature at 80 degrees ambient the high temperature light came on 1 mile from home. After letting it cool down I removed the radiator cap and added 2 gallons of water. I then drove the Mini about 4 miles and returned home with no visible signs of leaks even after sitting for hours.

Any ideas where the water went ??

Went to Mini service center in Tucson yesterday and after removing part of the belly pan they discovered a crack in the radiator seam. New part ordered and covered under warranty 👏👏
