Mini Cooper D 2010/11 need help
 

I was driving my car home from work the engine light came on and it stopped....called the AA out they said it could be a £30 sensor or timing belt which means I'd need a new engine so am trying to narrow it down so I have some idea about how expensive its gonna be.....the fault code he has put on the report is engine control-1LK/Diesel etc 17c status 483d faulty . Error present my engine oil and coolant level was OK any help would be greatly recieved
