I am new here and just got my first mini cooper (countryman).

The strange thing what I didn't saw when I ordered the car is that the miniconnect only works with Iphone ? I have a droid , on google play is the app available but it doesn't work

Anybody any ideas ?

Hi, for those of you that are running android, I've noticed that we finally have a Mini Connected App for Android.

For some reason or another the app is geoblocked, and will only allow you to install in some regions. But don't worry you can get around it by manually downloading the app onto your pc, copy it to your phone and then you should be able to install it.


Copy the above URL and past into this website:

save the file to your PC, and then copy to your phone, open a file browser and then open the .apk file and you should be able to install it!


I've got a Samsung Galaxy S4 (i9505) and it installed fine, I'm not sure wether or not other phone models also work..
