The problem is the result of worn exhaust clamp mounts or, more seriously, the rusted or broken clamp itself. Replacing the entire muffler clamp bracket system takes care of both issues, securing the exhaust tip squarely within the bumper for a factory-look fit. An obvious sign of a neglected or aging MINI is an exhaust tip that droops below the rear bumper. The problem is the result of worn exhaust clamp mounts or, more seriously, the rusted or broken clamp itself.
