MINI Cooper S/JCW R55 R56 R57 N14 Vacuum Pump

If the brakes in your MINI have begun to feel a little soft, or stopping isn't as precise and powerful as they used to be, the problem may be your vacuum pump.
This is used for the wastegate actuation on the turbo.

The vacuum pump assists the power braking system in providing ample braking pressure.
