In contrast to the water pump drive off the supercharger, the non–supercharged MINI Cooper uses a more conventional water pump setup. On these cars, the water pump is driven directly off the serpentine belt by a pulley. The procedure for replacing the water pump on the non-supercharged MINI is a bit different.
