2005 with 163,xxx miles
 

Looking at buying this Mini (non “S”) for a fun drive with the wife and kiddos. My questions are many but I’ll start off with some simple stuff. I have been reading about the 2004-2005 have the better engines. Does anyone have a quick link on the evolution of these cars and what was changed and when? Along with what things are interchangeable between years. The car is pretty clean and runs well, cylinder 2 had a misfire (when it got super cold here in Texas- 17 degrees) but I cleared that code and it hasn’t come back. I’d be paying $1000...seems like a good price.
