2005 Mini Cooper S ignition key won't turn

I'm borrowing a Mini S and I can open the doors with the fob... but once I put it in, it won't turn to the start position.

Any ideas?

Shifter in park (Auto) Try wiggling the shifter
Try wiggling the steering wheel might be locked
