First off amazing forum you folks have put together. I am a new Mini owner and I love it. I have a 2009 Mini s. The problem is the passenger window will go down automatically anytime the door is opened. I can get the window back up but only a 1/2" at a time. I have a 2009 clubman and I switched window motors and the same thing happened. Thank you for any suggestions.

 

Welcome to MINI Cooper Forums. This was happening to the window before you changed the window motor? Is this why you changed the motor? This article is for an R56, but should help with your R55. Make sure you did the initialization (figure 26 in the article goes over that). See if that may help you. Otherwise, if it doesn't go to the bottom of the article and leave a comment in the comment box. A tech will come back with some additional advice for you.
