I joined to find out more about the mini. My daughter is turning 17 in October and I already have a 1996 XJ6 in the garage awaiting her desire to learn to drive.

My interest in the mini is the size and handling which certainly would help build confidence to a new driver, and if she still shows no interest then I will have to drive it myself.

Win, Win situation. What is the best year for the mini. Looking to spend around $ 20k or less.
