Hello all,

I just bought my son a 2006 Mini Cooper S. He will not know about it until next Saturday, so I am enjoying it until then. My son will turn 18 next week and has dreamed of owning a Mini since he was in sixth grade. Right now he drives a '73 VW super Beetle and here in Texas, it gets really hot without A/C. So for graduation this next year, my wife and I decided to surprise him with a Mini Cooper S.

I am very involved with Corvettes and am a moderator at the second largest corvette forum on the Internet, digitalcorvettes.com. As a hobby, I restore and modify old cars. Here is my projects website: www.bigdoggarage.com

This last pic shows 6 of our 7 vehicles. The one you can't see here is the '53 Chevy Wagon that is behind the Jeep. The Vette body is on the other side of the Mini in the dark area of the garage.
