Exclamation BRAND NEW 2013 MINI Cooper - Already having issues and <100mi on it!!!

Hey Folks,

I'm a MINI newb and proudly bought my very first 2013 MINI Cooper Hardtop (automatic) from Crevier MINI in Orange County, CA. There were 23mi on it when I drove it off the lot.

After less than 24 hours of owning the car, it's already showing an alert and causing me to rethink my decision. It seems to light-up whenever I'm slowing down to a stop.

I checked the Owner's Manual and it says,

Lights up in yellow: Have the system checked as soon as possible.
The dealership is asking me to bring the car into service, which I'll do in a little bit, but I wanted to get some outside opinions on this before it's "too late."
  1. Has anybody heard of this happening before?
  2. Should I be worried about more issues down the road?
  3. Any advice/tips/recommendations before I visit the dealer?

Thanks in advance guys!

My Mini Cooper S (2013) with 86 miles had a yellow warning with the Engine (malfunction) 2 days ago, 4 days after taking ownership.
My first over the phone experience with the service advisor was not good. Talked to me and promised to call back in 5 - 10 minutes and never did. Eventually I called back and another advisor said it would be middle of next week before I could get a loaner. None the less I brought the car in with a promise of a courtesy shuttle ride and to my surprise they gave me a brand new mini loaner!
Now lets see whether they find the problem or not.

Diagnosed as a high pressure fuel pump. Was told their were none in the US and it would take considerable time to get one overseas. Car was finished on that Saturday (2 days total) and called us to pick up on Monday. Notwithstanding the lack of loaner and the expected delay on the replacement part this was generally a good experience (under commit and over deliver).
