I have a 2008 clubman it is in service for the second time. First time no satisfaction now it's back for the same problems.
RPM surges to 7000 periodically but no go. Thank God! also, so much more often it bogges down from a stop then lurches and goes. While using cruise control at 70mph itlost power only to regain it almost immediately. I hope they are able to fix the problems this time. Oh, and the service sucks at the Mini Center in SA. Their sales dept. is great though just don't need them later.
