Default DFW area Texas thinking about going Mini Cooper S

I live in the DFW metroplex and I'm thinking about getting a Mini Cooper S. I previously have been a Scion tC owner since 2005. I was in an accident in my car on Monday 10/12 and my insurance is considering the car a total loss. Very sad, but maybe this is an opportunity to start a new chapter in my life.

I am looking at two vehicles in my area. Both are used.

I looked at and test drove this one today. I really like it. http://www.lonestarautogroup.com/use...0a0aacd357.htm

I am going to look at this one tomorrow. I really like the color.

Thoughts?

Okay, I have decided to try to get the bright blue one. It's a 2005 model and I test drove it today.

Several people have viewed this thread, but have not replied.

Sorry about that. Just looking for some opinions from some current owners. Still thinking about the blue hardtop.

Someone said something recently about these not being very reliable vehicles. Didn't sound right to me. I was planning on having the car looked at by a qualified shop or BMW Mini dealer before going through with the purchase.

Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

That looks awesome, Andy Would be worth it. Really too bad you did not buy a black car. So much more work to do a color change. J

They're both pretty sweet. Looks like it will be the blue one. The black one went to auction. They had it on that lot for a while and gave up on it I guess.

Hopefully, I'll have the blue one on Friday. The black one was really nice, though.
