Electronics failed indication light??!!

I had the indicator light in my 2007 Mini come on this morning while driving. This looks like a car on a mechanics lift. It was red with the brake light coming on as well. I pulled over and attempted to reset my system the indicator went from red to yellow, then back to red.? It was suggested to me to "unplug" my car battery, to force my car's system to reset.

I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else. And if so, if you have any suggestions. Today is a Sunday and I am 2 hours from home, and need to be able to drive home!

Is the car running Normally ? If so I think this is just a service reminder you might have drove over the oil change limit and it's telling you to take it in for service or the brake sensors are active and you need the brakes checked

I have had it serviced recently, but I may need brake work. The car is running normal, no problems there. I just want to be sure that its safe to drive home, I don't want to damage my car. We did have a TON of rain yesterday, and I had to do a lot of driving through that, so if that affect the brakes?

I can get my car in to be checked tomorrow, I just need to know if my car is safe to drive home? And would resetting my car by unplugging the battery help anything?

Thank you so much for all your help!
