Default Hello all!!!

Hey guys,

I'm the owner of a 2006 yellow convertible mini!!

I would personally like to pay this one off and get an S. Well, that's the plan!!

Do you guys have any recommendations for sites with aftermarket parts? Is the aftermarket scene big at all? I would appreciate some links

Any beginner recommendations for mods?

Also, is the scene big at all? I'm in DFW. Are there any clubs around? I would love to get to meet some fellow mini owners!!

Well, have a great day!!!

A few pics for when I first got it.

Hi Ottobomb92, cool Mini. Will you be modding this Mini or your next one? Usually the first mods are the air intake. There are a few out there for Minis. Here are a few brands; Alta, M7, AEM and K&N. If you want a better ride you should lower it next. You can get coilovers that adjust stiffness and ride height but are pricey or you can just some springs that will drop your ride height. Each brand will have a different drop in height. Some websites that you might want to check out are altaperformance.com, m7tuning.com, minidynamics.com and carid.com, those are a few to get you started. Good luck on your journey to make your Mini your own. Cheers!
