Help it's 96 degrees and my AC is blowing hot air
 

Hi all, I just purchased a 2017 Mini Cooper Countryman S ALL4 about 6 weeks ago. Turned the air conditioner on and it is blowing hot air. Yes, I hit the AC button.:).
The car has been at the dealer for two days already and they cannot figure out why it isn't working. ''I can't understand how THEY don't know why it isn't working".
Received a call late tonight saying the reached out to Mini Headguarters and they ran a PUMA REPORT on the car and have been told to replace the compressor.?!!!!!!! How can a brand new vehicle need a new compressor???
They then said they had to order the part and it should be in tomorrow.

Has anyone ever heard of such a thing??

Welcome to MINI Cooper Forums! At least your vehicle is under warranty and the issue is being taken care of. Let's just hope you don't have any other issues going forward. If you haven't already, and you plan to keep the vehicle passed its factory warranty, an extended warranty for these MINI's are a great investment. If you ever need anything be sure to let me know.
