Hi everybody,
This is my first post on this forum. I'm a new Mini owner. I have wanted one for years and finally got the chance to get one. I purchased a silver 2005 Mini cooper convertible a couple of weeks ago. I had forgotten how much fun driving can be. I love the car, however, the automatic transmission is a little weird in the way it shifts. I'm not really sure it's operating the way it should, otherwise this could be the perfect car!;)

sorry for the delay in getting back to you, my Mini has 124K+. The "weirdness" is just that it seems to a random shifting. It's very hard to get a handle on. This is my first experience with a CVT transmission and I can't tell if it's just my learning to drive this car or if it has the dreaded transmission problems I have been reading about today. The last thing I want to do is spend a load of cash on a new transmission. Thanks.
