My name is Richard. I'm new to car forums, owned many different cars since the 1980s including a 1977 Mini 1275 GT (Clubman interior and front end) in the early 90s. Fun cars.

Anyway, I'll cut to the chase: My daughter has recently purchased a 2009 Mini Cooper hard top to learn to drive. Quite a nice little car, but feels a little different from my old 1275, which is to be expected given the age difference. I've been out of the Mini loop for so long, any issues I'll post in the relevant section of the forum.
