Hey All, I've never joined any forum before. I decided to join since I recently purchased a 2004 Mini R53 with a blown motor (so I was told). I got the car for super cheap and decided to get it back on the road since the rest of it is in remarkably good shape. So far I have the old engine removed and I have a new engine ready to go in. At this point I don't want to miss anything important and am hoping for some tips and trick in order to make the Mini a reliable runner. Thanks to you all in advance!

 

Hello and welcome to the forum. I've got the same year and model as you. I absolutely love this car! Just do the routine maintenance and you'll be just fine. Do you plan on any mods in the future?
