New to the Cooper S world, just bought myself an 07. Hope I did OK. Been wanting one for several years, and finially said if I dont' do it now, I kick myself later. Ok, so that doesn't make sense, I just wanted one so I did it.

Default Just saying Hi

Hi Bob,

I just bought a Mini 2 weeks ago and so far like it a lot. I went to the dealership with my wife and told her that I was just going to look but ended up driving one out 2 hours later. She says that I am going through mid life crisis but at my age I think its more like end of life crisis. Oh well I plan on having fun with it.

Same here Gary, I am diffently not mid life either, I'm on the upper end. but what the heck. My wife found this and wasn't sure if I'd like it. She has not driven it yet, I haven't given her a chance. Guess I better. I love it.

Cool Mini Wife

What is really funny is that my wife was not real keen on me getting a Mini. She has driven it almost as much as I have and I think she fell in love with it. She was talking today about buying her one, only she want the longer version for hauling her friends around in some more comfort in the back seat. She also really liked the double back doors. It reminds her of the old panel wagons. Soon we are liable to be a 2 mini family.

Welcome, and congrats! I bought mine b/c my wife loved it so much, and she can still fit two kids in the back. Otherwise it would have been a 350z, still tons of fun though!

So how do you like the convertible? I second vehicle is a bike, so I opted for the sun roof version or is it a moon roof.
