Lighting stalk fault
 

Has anyone else experienced my symptoms?
My lighting stalk appears to have a few faults. When I 1st. bought the car the lights were stuck on full beam. A quick fiddle with the stalk (sounds rude) it clicked back into place. If the engine is not running, I can click from low to full beam, but only one lamp goes onto full beam. Bulbs are fine.
Today I drove the car and with the lights turned off (daytime), if I used the indicators, the full beams would turn on, both bulbs would light (unlike when the engine was off): but in order to turn the full beams off, I had to turn the lights on & then off.
Fault repeats every time the indicators are used yet reverts to first fault when engine if off? Think I'll remove the stalk & see is there any obvious problem or replace the switch?
