My girlfriend is looking at the Mini Cooper and I am not that familiar with them. Here are my questions:

1) how reliable are they?

2) how accurate are the voice commands?

3) how is it on long drives? For example 5 hours

4) timing belt or chain?

5) how is the maintenance on it? Would I be able to do it myself?

6) how is it as a daily driver for commuting? Her drive is all highway with some traffic.

7) how smooth is the ride?

8) how does it handle in the snow? (We live in New England)

9) how are the manual and automatic transmissions?
