Mini Won't Start
 

My 2015 Mini Cooper S Manual won't start. The start Button has become an On/Off switch for the starter without starting the car. Hit the button and the start starts turning and continues to turn without the car starting without the engine starting, continues to run until I hit the button again.

My normal service guy, Not a mini shop - as there are none close, says therre should be a place to put the Key from the fob to bypass the starter button but I can find one.

Any ideas?? This is my 3rd mini and a completely new issue for me.
