Hi All,

I am new to the form. I just purchased (need to go pick it up) my first ever Mini Cooper. Its a 2009 base model M/T with 87 K on it. White with silver lines. This is probably the most exciting car purchase I have made, even more so then my first car. :D

I wanted to know what the form think of this year model with such high mileage. I paid about $8 K (USD) for it. Is it a good price? Also, are there any tips or tricks I should know about or any other concerns I should watch out for.

I am literarily can't contain my self until I drive it. :D

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your purchase. I would check your area for a BMW/Mini specialist. Not your local dealership because we all know where that would go. I personally would look into head gasket and maybe the clutch because of the mileage. Have fun with your Mini and speed responsibly!
