New 2007 S Owner with oil question
 

Hi all,
I just purchased a new to me S and know it is in need of an oil change. I happen to have a lot of Motul 5w-40 motorcycle oil available for free. Its a full synthetic JASO MA2 rated oil. Can anyone think of a reason why I shouldn't just use it in the Mini? The owners manual doesn't make point of specifying oil ratings beyond viscosity and full syn. Love the car thus far, just want to take good care of it. Thanks,

Hi Guzzi, I personally never heard of anyone one using cycle oil on a car but I don't see why it wouldn't do the job.
