New guy to the forum and need some help

Alright, so I just replaced my motor in my r53 with a used one. Whenever I start the car it runs for about 15 to 20 minutes and then starts having a really low idea and kills itself. Can't start back up for about an hour then it does it again. If anyone knows how to correct this please let me know.
