New guy in SoCal w/"S" air scoop question

Hi, just bought an '09 Clubman S with a warped hood scoop. I just visited the dealer and bought the Thermal Insulation for it but cannot figure out how to remove the scoop. Can it be formed back into shape? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thx.
