Hello all,
as of tonight i have started hearing a new noise and more.

First off: i drive a 2012 mini cooper countryman, AWD, turbo, six speed.

As i was driving around today i noticed a delay in the accelaration. For example: i put the pedal down and the pick up will feel slower than usual. Even in sport mode.

In addition: while in 4th gear, as I accelarate faster than 50 mph before a gear change, i can hear a "whining" sound and it revs ups momentarily companied by the delay, as well as a very smelly clutch which I've experienced before.

I've had fly wheel repairs last year, but for a prolonged amount of time I've had no issues.

Im still new to these cars and love it very much. And any advice would be helpful. I have a dealer/repair shop near me and will check in next week. What should i address?
