Hi all, never thought I would ever post on a forum but here we go. This was a private buy.
Just bought a 2006 Mini Cooper S for the wife. Not knowing the first thing about buying a mini it all sounded fine with the car only viewed when the engine was hot. Usual pulls like a train with everything slick. All in all fairly happy. Engine cold the next morning and I heard it rattle on start up. It was a dull fade kind of knocking noise but scared the hell out of me when I removed the oil filler cap. Would love a diagnoses before my wife has a pop and I get it in the ear for being a dick.. Looking forward to hours of pleasure, John
