Newbie

Hello All,
New to the forums and wanted to introduce myself. I'm looking to buuy a Mini Cooper S within the week and while I've spent countless hours at the Mini site I thought it would be good to check-in hear as well.

I live and work in LA. I spend ridiculous amounts of time driving all over southern california for work. I produce TV commercials so it's a new location every shoot.

That being said I want a car the is fun to drive and still have the tools of the trade bluetooth, GPS etc. But it's gotta be fun which the Mini seems be.

Hope to gleen a bit more info here before I purchase then hopefully share my Mini experience too.

Fun is the word! I traded-in my Cooper for a Cooper S last week, and I can't find enough excuses to get behind the wheel. They just run like blazes in traffic, but provide a comfortable, relaxed ride at freeway speeds. The Mini is also available with plenty of "bells and whistles", more than typically found in small cars. They're a pleasure to drive, attract plenty of admiring glances, get good mileage, and never give you the feeling that you're driving an economy car. It's Mini's forever for me!
