My missus has just got a 2016 Cooper Clubman Chilli,please bear with me if I'm not up to speed with modern parlance etc, I'm assuming that this Mini doesn't have a starting handle or a Dynamo?

 

They are all wind up now. You should find your winding key under the trunk mat. They are stored there usually. Just make sure to store it properly after winding, they will fall out on a hard launch. Don't want that key hitting someone behind you.
