No more run flats - what an improvement

I have a 2014 Countryman that came with the run flats. I had 2 blow outs after hitting a massive pot hole only 6 months after purchasing it. I now have 45k miles on and replaced all 4 tires with non run flats. What an improvement with the ride! Not as stiff of a ride and takes the bumps so much better. If anyone is considering the change, I would recommend it!!:)

Yes, ditching the run flats is one of the first thing that MINI owners do. Your ride comfort and feel is drastically improved from doing such a simple thing. A nice complimentary mod would be to do a rear sway bar. Enjoy your need ride feel and if you ever need anything be sure to let me know! :)

I just bought a used 2014 hardtop non-S, came with 18" run flat tires. Thinking about changing to 16" or 17" wheels and conventional tires, comments ... ?

This is very doable and a lot of MINI owners change up the tire and wheel size.
