Oil under valve cover
 

2008 MINI Clubman
I have oil seeping out from under the coil of cylinder number 1 and some oil filling the 2 center valve cover bolt holes. The other three coils are dry. There is only a trace of oil around the #1 spark plug when I pulled the coil to look. On the very rare occasion the car will buck when under load. I cannot locate any other oil leak. If anyone has had a similar experience I would like to hear what it is. I am guessing it may be the head gasket but do not want to pull the engine apart to find out it isn't. There is 140,000 miles on the car. Thanks
