On Mother's Day I ran my Miata over a rock that was 8 inches tall, clearance was 6 inches. Oh, well. So, since I still wanted a convertible, when my cousin's wife's Mini red, 05 convertible came up I jumped on it. I got it for $4,800 because the top doesn't go down. I've had some experience with Mini's before as a friend and I autocrossed his turbo. He did a lot better than I did.
So, this is just the beginning of the story.
