G'day everyone,

I'm a first time poster with a problem.

I have 2008 R56 S. I have just got my Mini back from the panle shop after hitting a kangaroo since then the chrome on the bonnot air intake has started to blister the insurance company says it's heat related and not from the accident.

I would think it's from heat or moisture from underneath the chrome.
