Quality of the Mini Cooper?
 

Hi all,

For the past several week's I have been looking into trading my 2006 Chevy Equinox for a Mini Cooper S. Here's my big concern, I am afriad of purchasing a used vehicle that could have a bunch of problems with it,and not know how long it's going to last. The vehicle I have now, was bought brand new, and only has about 16K on it, with no problems at all. I've found a 2003 Mini Cooper S for sale nearby, but it has over 51K on it, and I've heard tales about the Coopers going bad after 50K, and so I would be kind of scared to make the change, not knowing how the long the car would last. The exterior and interior photos of the Cooper look great, so that makes me think that maybe it was well taken care of, but I still don't know. What are your opinions, or experiences in this matter?
