Question on buying
 

I'm going to buy a Cooper S in the next 6 weeks. I have designed my car on MiniUSA and have the price. My question is, how much (if any) can I deal with the dealer on price? Or is the price listed on the website the no kidding bottom line price.

Also, how does the S with 16 inch tires handle on snow?

I am planning to order my first Mini next week. I went to one of three dealers in the Chicago area. He gave me the MSRP and would not budge at all. From the research I have done, there are no negotiations. Sounds like they don't have to negotiate. Cars go out as soon as they arrive if not sooner.

I would have purchased a 2008, but they are no longer available if you want a new one. I am ordering a 2009 and was told it would take 8 weeks to arrive. I thought about buying a used Mini, but for a few thousand more why not get a new one since they have a decent warranty.
