Default Right turning noises

Hi, I own a mini Cooper 2006 Hatchback.
Lately I've been hearing a small grinding sound when I turn my car left and right but it's only coming from the tire on the passenger side.
Where I live has some of the most terrible streets you can imagine, even riding home from work on rte 80 in Jersey the highway is bad on a mini Cooper because the car is low plus it's almost 15 years old
But it's a good driven car up until about too weeks ago I started hearing the grinding noise.
I've been looking at a lot of YouTube videos on myake and year but I don't know if it's ball joints gone bad or what...help please.
