Service engine lite & EML lite
 

Hey everyone. -- My service engine lite & eml lite just came on last night and 30 mins later the car started running very rich. - I could smell the exhaust like the car is flooded but it ran fine and made it home
. I let it set over nite and started it 20 mins ago, and it runs but has no power when I push the acceleratorand stalls when I put it in gear. It sputters while it idols in neutral.
Anyone had this issue?

IS IT AN OXYGEN SENSOR?

AND I HEARD THERE ARE '2' OF THEM??? UGH !!! AND MY MINI IS OF COURSE -----
--OUT OF WARRANTY!!!

It doesn't sound like an 02 sensor. My Service Engine Soon light came on 3 days ago but didn't run funny or strange at all. Took it to the dealer (it's under warranty) and they found out it was the 02 sensor. Took 30 minutes to fix, not sure of the cost. The car did not run funny at all though, and I had to drie it 120 miles to the dealer.

Sounds like something else to me.
