G,day everyone, my first post.
I have purchased a written off (insurance) cooper MY03 (R50)that was vandalised inside. I have only got the door/ignition key not the remote one and the little blighters used a blow torch on the ignition barrel to unsuccessfully start the car so the key is unable to enter the barrel. Is there anyway of removing the barrel so i can get a new one.

 

unfortunately the easiest is a locksmith as it requires special tools I was told ...
AAA paid for mine when it screwed up
