I picked up a 2005 beater today and it needs lots of work. Just preforming some regular maintenance and I already see a major difference. There's 150K on the clock but the steering is tight and the engine runs smooth. One of the first issues I need to address is that the shifter is stiff but only the right to left action while in neutral and there doesn't seem to have any springs for the fifth and reverse gears. Any advise would be helpful. I will probably be spending the next couple of days digging up old posts looking for clues as to how I came make my new terror a little more user friendly.
