Supercharge a 08 non-s?
 

I bought my first mini last week, a 2008 non-S, non-convertible. I want to play around with it and make it go faster. I talked to the local Euro-racing guru in my area and he told me nothing I can do can make my mini go that much faster. He is a porche fan and raced professionally for generations, but whatever.

Anyway, I have looked at some Cold air intake systems and I found the lowest price to be ~$220. I am also reading about these aftermarket superchargers that is supposed to pull more horsepower than the coldair.

Can I put this on my non-S without damaging it? I drive this car everyday and my wife too so it will see average miles so I don't want something that is just made for professionals, just a little pep. Help

Those are an ABSOLUTE scam ... Read up on electric superchargers most are just a marine bilge blower and flow very little air
