Was it on a town road or the highway.....I "think" you can take it up with the town or highway dept but im not to sure. Sux to hear that though.....My girl ran over a piece of metal last week a truck dropped on the highway and ripped the oil pan wide open and she almost lost the motor b/c as she put it " i didnt know what that RED light meant so i kept driving". 15miles later she gets home and tells me her car is makin a funny noise......go figure, no oil. Wow that really blows. Thank God for insurance. Is that completely covered?

It happened on I-5 at about 70 mph, had it been any other car I would have lost control. I was a little shook up. All the stories you hear of people that lose their lives when tires are loose on the freeway. I an very proud how my MINI handled.
